- Ancestral File lists his spouse as Mrs. George Standard (GJKN-5X), born abt.
1649.
!NOTE: He likely left a will. The series "The Index Library", T. M. Blagg,
F.S.A., General Editor contains volume 45, Taunton Wills and Administrations,
1537-1799 (The British Record Society, Ltd., London: 1912). Part II - Calendar
of Wills in Bundles, 1597-1799, lists George Standard of North Petherton, will
#60 in the bundle for 1729. Most of these wills were destroyed in WWII, but
some survived. I have not yet determined if this one did. There is also a
George Standard, senior, of North Petherton, #117 for 1628, of unknown
relationship. This will already did not exist in 1912.
