"April Term 1851

Ex parte
Petition to sell land
On motion it was ordered that said Petitioner proceed and appraise the following real Estate of said wards upon the oath of Samuel Stultz Samuel Lewis and Michael Bowers said premises being the undivided two thirds part of the following tract of land situate in Hocking County Ohio Viz. The West half of the South West quarter and the East half of the South West quarter and the West half of the South East quarter of section three Township Thirteen Range number seventeen - also four acres in section four of said Township & Range said tracts in the aggregate contain two hundred and fifty acres more or less of which premises said wards are each seized of one undivided third part together said petitioner is further ordered to appraise said tract by the oaths of the above named appraisers and duly advertise and sell the same according to the statutes in such case made and provided and he is further ordered to sell said premises for no less sum than the full appraised value and make return of and report his proceedings herein at the term of our said Court." |

On motion to the court by Mr [?] Counsel for the petitioner and upon producing [?] of the proceedings and sale made by said petitioner as herein before ordered and the court having examined the same and being satisfied that said sale has in all respects been legally made. It is ordered that the same be and is hereby approved and confirmed and that the said petitioner execute and deliver [?] said purchaser a deed in fee simple for the real estate by him so sold as aforesaid." |

"Be it remembered that at a special court held at the Court House in the Town of Logan Hocking County Ohio. On the 15th day of Februray AD. Eighteen hundred and fifty one. Present Reuben Culver, Robert Wright, and Lewis Hutchens Esquires, associate Judges of the Court of Common Pleas of said Hocking COunty -.

This day appeared in open court Burten Kimble aged nineteen years and James Kimble aged seventeen years. And in Open Court made choise of Wesley Kimble for their Gaurdian and the Court approving the Choice it is ordered that said Gaurdian give Bonds in the sum of Six hundred dollars to Each Ward with Andrew Ketcham & Silas Kitchen as surieties, Conditioned according to law. And thenupon the said Wesley Kimble accepted said appointment and gave Bonds accordingly." |
